Mission
Christian Surfers Australia has a mission to reach the whole Australian surfing community regardless of age, sex, experience or equipment. We have groups around our coastline that offer surfers Bible study, contest, camping and meetings. We also have short term missions, leadership training schools and specialty outreach like the Jesus Pro Am series.
Groundswell 2010 Report

It’s been a crazy year with so much going on it’s hard to know where to start, always a great place is with God and His provision for us. To have a healthy, strong Board and leadership team has been a massive blessing, seeing God’s hand at work in raising up people to serve and reach out to the surfers of Australia and want to see the surfers at their beach become Jesus followers is what it is all about.
National Gathering 2009 was radical. Not only was it at an old prison farm but it was in a place that had little Christian Surfers contact over the years and now all these people have come out of the wood work to be a Christian presence to the surf community there is mind blowing.
National Gathering 2010 will be in the sun at Lennox Head on the NSW North Coast, with a big venue we are aiming for our biggest gathering yet and praying that all our mission leaders attend, so keep an eye on the website for more info how to get there.
Soul Surfers - we have been trying to reconnect with crew who have been a part of CSA in the past and for them to see what they were involved in has become. Reunions have been held in Queensland and South Australia reconnecting many soul surfers with the hope of encouraging them and inspiring to serve the King.
Jesus Pro Am - It has been so good to see God move through these events in reaching competitive surfers, this year saw 3 events, Manly Coffs, Harbour and Wollongong, next year an even bigger series with more events added to the calendar. These have also been live streamed with help from our partner’s at Coastalwatch.
