Stewart Hunt

Born and raised in Melbourne, Stew is married to Bronwen and has 4 children; Daniel, Nat, Jade and Joel. Raised in a Christian family he made an early decision to follow Christ and attributes a "radical understanding of discipleship" to a number of key people in the church who noticed that he was climbing the walls and so did their best to place him in front of the right one. This helped to forge a life-long love for the church and an unswerving belief that with all of her flaws - she is still the primary means through which God touches a hurting world. He has worked full-time in both church and mission settings, travelled to over forty different countries and adores the diversity of God’s world. He is currently Lead Pastor of Eltham Baptist Church. After doing some training for CSI leadership, Stew found a kindred spirit with CS and is keen to see them expand their development into unreached cultures. He has limited surfing experience but appreciates the beach culture and the unreached people group of surfers. Email Stewart
