Anyone and everyone anywhere in the world can love surfing, and even if they don't surf they love what it looks like. The exposure that we have traveling around the world with different languages, culture, and people makes for such a variety of life in surfing. I am not sure that you can name another sport that has that.” 11-time WSL World Champion Kelly Slater helped crystallize our vision as to why surfing is such a unique platform for the gospel during a post-heat interview at the ISA World Surfing Games in Japan yesterday.

We’ll be hitting San Diego, California, September 7-12, 2020 for our epic biannual family reunion. More info and registration coming soon. See you there!

@samueltapiac & @jamiebeta’s lives have been significantly impacted through Christian Surfers, not least of which is the fact that they met and married through our ministry! The powerhouse couple grew as followers of Jesus through Christian Surfers in the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador, before taking massive steps of faith to move into the heart of their nation’s most notorious surf locale, accepting the mantle of leadership for @christiansurfersecu in the process. Join us this week in praying for @christiansurfers_us: “The Christian Surfers tribe in the United States is growing, with new chapters popping up on both coasts! We are celebrating a great national gathering together in Carlsbad, CA with over 125 surfers from all over the US. We sent many overseas surf missions trips, including partnering with OneWorld Health for a medical missions trip to Nicaragua. Pray for fun surf and strengthened community for the upcoming October surf campouts, financial health, and strong leadership. The US staff is stoked to welcome multiple new members, including former pro surfer Matt Beacham who joins as a regional coordinator. Pray also as they are already in preparations to host the 2020 International Gathering in California!” #everysurfer

Join us this week in praying for CS Canada: "CS remains present on Vancouver Island and in Nova Scotia with a core group of surfers that are showing God’s love in and out of the lineup. Our remote surf communities and climate make us unique but that also poses difficulties in connecting with those communities. Canadians are finding new ways to surf on lakes and rivers and new communities are growing. Pray that God would place us strategically and raise up new leaders to join in sharing God’s love with every surfer; pray also for refreshed vision in our current leaders." #everysurfer
