Gathering T-Shirt Launch

When planning our Gathering we wanted to try to do things well from the bottom to the top, part of that effort included having out t-shirts made ethically. Beyond that however, we found a way to also make them empowering. Using our Groundswell Aid project Aleph Surf, we had our shirts handmade in Jeffreys Bay, South Africa, providing paid work for local people there, while providing us with better quality products than we otherwise would have had. They may have cost us a little more, but it was well worth it!
