Day Three: Afternoon
The heat here is so intense that most of the time of between meetings is spent in water of some description - whether the pool or the ocean, both of which are also so hot they barely provide relief - and this is the cool season! There has been some pretty sweet games of pool volleyball going on with a large beach ball however.
Our incoming International Director Roy Harley and his wife Sharon have been having a meal with each region during the week, getting to know people better and fielding questions. It's awesome to have someone already so well known and loved in the ministry stepping up to this position.
Breakout sessions were again held, this time based around relationships. Married couples, single men and single women each had time with Eric and Sue Arakawa, Shannon Bolotin and Melanie Pitcher and Brett Davis respectively, while Gill Davis held a session on the power of storytelling when sharing the gospel.
