CSNZ Camp

Over the Labour Day long weekend CSNZ hosted a camp at Raglan with around 40-50 people coming and going over the course of the weekend.
The surf was not looking good for the weekend, but people still committed to camping out on our new but primitive campsite.
This time last year we had 50+ people come and put their hands to the plough and build the campsite. They moved boulders, built a shed, 2 long drops, 2 working showers, a fire pit, stairs down to the fire and a road all the way down to the campsite.
So this Labour Day weekend we came to enjoy the hard work from last year. We all surfed and skated during the day, come evening we all cooked food and sat around the fire, played games, had a burma trail, watched a surf film and sung worship songs around the fire.
The surf was average but everyone made the most of it and had great times hooting each other into waves. Monday morning the conditions changed and the waves were amazing! Barely anyone in the water and the waves stayed good all day!
It was great to gather together and be encouraged by one another - thanks Lord for an awesome weekend!
Durante el fin de semana largo CSNZ fue el anfitrión de un campamento en Ragalan con alrededor de 40-50 personas participando durante el fin de semana.
Las olas no se veían buenas para el fin de semana pero aun así las personas se comprometieron a participar en nuestro campamento.
Por esta fecha el año pasado teníamos mas de 50 personas participando y ayudando con la construcción de nuestro campamento. Movieron rocas, construyeron una bodega, dos baños, dos duchas, una fogata, las escaleras bajando al fuego y el camino hasta el campamento.
Entonces este fin de semana largo disfrutamos del fruto de nuestra labor el año pasado. Todos surfeamos y patinamos durante el día, en la noche cocinamos y nos sentamos alrededor de la fogata, jugamos juegos, vimos un video de surf y cantamos alabanzas alrededor de la fogata.
El surf estaba mas o menos pero todos disfrutaron y nos animamos unos a otros corriendo olas. El lunes en la mañana las condiciones cambiaron y las olas estaban increíbles! ¡Casi nadie en el agua y las olas estuvieron buenas todo el día!
Fue bueno reunirnos y animarnos unos a otros – ¡gracias Señor por este un gran fin de semana!
