Soy Richy, Ricardo Monge Monge. Salvado por gracia y casado desde hace casi 5 años (los mejores de mi vida). Me apasiona la Palabra, la música, el surf y conectar con las personas para acercarlas a Dios. Creo firmemente que las relaciones auténticas e intencionales, basadas en el amor al prójimo, son la forma más efectiva de alcanzar cualquier subcultura.
El Señor me ha permitido servir en ministerios con jóvenes adultos, tanto dentro de un templo (en alabanza y adoración) como fuera de estos en skate parks. En estos espacios he visto cómo Dios se mueve en ambientes no tradicionales,donde muchos se sienten lejos de la iglesia, pero con una profunda necesidad de propósito y verdad.

Recientemente me integré a Christian Surfers Costa Rica, apoyando al director Esteban y aprendiendo de este movimiento que conecta la fe con el mar y los Surfos.

Asistir a esta conferencia en Brasil representa una oportunidad clave para crecer, aprender y traer herramientas que impacten nuestras costas. El financiamiento cubrirá este viaje, permitiéndome regresar mejor preparado para servir. Más que un viaje, es una inversión en lo que Dios está haciendo. Confío en que esto impactará no solo mi vida, sino también la de muchos jóvenes en busca de propósito, identidad y esperanza.

I am Richy, Ricardo Monge Monge. Saved by grace and married for almost 5 years (the best years of my life). I am passionate about the Word, music, surfing, and connecting with people to bring them closer to God. I firmly believe that authentic and intentional relationships, rooted in loving our neighbors, are the most effective way to reach any subculture.

The Lord has allowed me to serve in young adult ministries, both inside the church (through praise and worship) and outside of it in skate parks. In these spaces, I have witnessed how God moves in non-traditional environments, where many people feel distant from the church but have a deep need for purpose and truth.

Recently, I joined Christian Surfers Costa Rica, supporting Director Esteban and learning from this movement that connects faith with the ocean and surfers.

Attending this conference in Brazil represents a key opportunity for me to grow, learn, and bring back tools that will impact our coastlines. The funding will cover this trip, allowing me to return better equipped to serve. More than a trip, it is an investment in what God is doing. I trust that this will impact not only my life but also the lives of many young people searching for purpose, identity, and hope.
