Sand Ceremony
Another tradition of the International Conference is the sharing of the sands from beaches in the home countries of each visiting nation. It's always fascinating to see the different colours, shades and consistencies of the sands as they mix together. It's a simple, symbolic ceremony, but very special as each national director or representative shared their sand and the story behind the beach it came from.
