As now is custom for our CS Costa Rica family, we all got together in February to celebrate our annual national camp out in Marbella, Guanacaste with this year's theme being "GO DEEPER".
The theme of the camp came from Psalms 107:24, "These see the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the deep," and throughout the weekend more than 80 individuals were able to focus on deepening their relationship with the Lord. From waking up at 5:00 a.m. to the annoying sound of a siren to give thanks to God and pray on the beach, to worshiping at a bonfire under the light from the moon and the stars till 11 at night - we were together for three days. There were different messages given by our leaders, Damián Boza and Ernesto Robert about leaving the shoreline and the whitewash and paddling harder and deeper into the barrel of our personal relationship with Christ.
Now, we can't forget how good the waves were either. They were fun for beginner and more advanced surfers as all of us surfed together in the company of brothers and sisters of Christ.
We are thankful to God for his faithfulness, providence, and presence during each step of organizing and doing this campout. We’d also like to thank Dustin Miller for his support and presence in this camp out. Until next year - GO DEEPER WITH JESUS!
