Pray for your global tribe in November

INDONESIA: As this is one of the major destinations for surfers worldwide, your Christian Surfers family is working to see the transformation of surfing communities throughout Indonesia. So please pray for multiplying local disciples, developing indigenous leaders and forming reproducible faith communities. In this religiously diverse country of 17,000 islands there are still 160 million people yet to hear the Good News of Jesus. Pray for spiritual breakthroughs in the lives of surfers here and for more Indonesian leaders who have a passion to share God’s love!

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC: After celebrating our 10th Christian Surfers Cup in 2020, we were hit by COVID-19 and the country closed the borders. Even the beaches closed. So your Christian Surfers family focused our efforts and funds into doing food runs to help surfers and their families since they were not receiving an income, and, by God’s grace, did some online training too. Praise God that the beaches have been opened and we can share the Gospel more easily, one on one. Please pray for our leaders in Santo Domingo, too.

BARBADOS: We are grateful to God that Barbados is such a great island for surfing! Please continue to pray that as the surfers enjoy the blessing of living here and enjoying God’s gifts, they may recognise Him as their creator and give Him the glory for the sport of surfing. May it become less about them and more about the Lord as we seek to create a community that looks out for one another.
